Studios
A Studio is a persistent recording room with its own bookmark-able URL. Instead of generating a fresh invite link for every episode, your guests join the same room every time — they bookmark it once and you reuse it week after week.
Studios are built for recurring shows. For one-off interviews, the standard invite flow that ships with every paid plan is a better fit.

What’s included

- Green Room — a waiting room where guests wait until you approve them into the session, so no one drops in unannounced.

- Host management — control who’s in the room and when recording starts.
- Per-studio defaults — set the join mode, welcome message, and other defaults once, and every session inherits them.
How it works
- A Team host creates the workspace’s Studio and shares its URL.
- Guests open the URL and land in the Green Room.
- The host admits guests, everyone completes the ready check, and recording begins — each participant records locally at full quality.
- When the session ends, guest recordings upload automatically to the host’s cloud library, just like a standard remote session.
Scheduling a session
From the studio dashboard you can schedule a session ahead of time and invite guests by email. Invitations can be resent if someone loses theirs, and upcoming sessions appear in both the web dashboard and the desktop app.

Branding
A studio carries your show’s colours — a primary, a secondary, and an accent — applied to the guest-facing room and invitations. Leave the secondary or accent unset and they fall back to your primary.
Who can host and join
- Hosting a Studio is done from the desktop or web app (Team plan).
- Guests can join from desktop, web, or mobile — no account required, they just open the room link.
Note that hosting a standard session works on mobile too; it’s Studio hosting specifically that stays on desktop and web.

Why is it Team-only?
A persistent room is designed for recurring shows where guests need a stable URL they can reuse for every episode. It lives in the same Team workspace that pools transfer quota and enables shared library access. If you record one-off interviews, the standard invite flow is built for exactly that.
