Capturly-specific shortcuts
Capturly does not currently define its own keyboard shortcuts. There is no key combination that starts or stops recording, opens Settings, or refreshes the device list — those actions are click-only today.
If a keyboard trigger for recording would help your workflow, it’s a reasonable thing to ask for: get in touch .
What the keyboard does do

Esc | Close the open dialog |
Every dialog in the desktop and web apps — invite, schedule, studio settings,
preflight — closes on Esc. Focus is managed inside dialogs so tabbing doesn’t
escape behind them.
System shortcuts (desktop app)
These come from the operating system’s standard application menu rather than from Capturly:

On Windows the menu bar is hidden by default; press Alt to reveal it.
Shortcuts that can interfere
Some system shortcuts can disrupt a recording session:
macOS

Tip: Enable Do Not Disturb during recordings.
Windows

Tip: Disable Game Bar if you hit problems.
Accessibility
Capturly supports standard system accessibility features:
- Semantic controls — buttons are buttons, so screen readers and keyboard navigation behave as expected
- Labelled icon buttons — icon-only controls carry accessible names
- Live regions — recording state and status changes are announced
- Reduced motion — animations respect the system setting
- Native controls on mobile — system switches, segmented controls, and action sheets rather than custom substitutes
